The Masonic Temple is like that restaurant that you don’t go to very often, but when you do you remember how good it is and you wonder why you don’t eat there all the time.

This building has just about everything you could ask for. Beautiful lighting, excellent colors, great textures, huge auditoriums, pianos, and of course chairs. Lot of them actually.

I’m not a Freemason. I don’t know what they do in their temples and lodges. Secret handshakes I assume. I also think some of them might get swords…? What I do know is that this particular temple was built in 1916 and was designed by architect William J. Carter.

I’ve been here quite a few times over the last several years, even bringing my wife here on our first date (romantic right?). The last few times I’ve been here I’ve walked away with only a handful of photos. It’s a place that I’ve shot so many times that I struggle to find something new. I still love exploring this place though.
